Kelshi - Further north from Anjarle, near the border of Raigad district, is another small town known as Kelshi. This village is frequented by pilgrims who come to the Mahalaxmi Temple here, built during the rule of the Peshwa dynasty. Just outside of the village is a lovely beach, which stretches for 2½ km and the sunset is said to be spectacular from this beach. It also has the historic dargah called “Yakub Baba Dargah” which was known as history that Yakub baba traveled from Hyderabad to Kelshi in the year 1618. The dargah is built on a total area of 534 acres. It is said that Shivaji Maharaj expressed wish to build a dargah after meeting Yakub baba .The dargah is 386 years old.Visiting it is a blissful .One more attraction at Kelshi beach is the sand dunes. The sand dunes are the world’s oldest sand dune that was formed due to tsunami in the Arabian sea many years ago in 1524. You can have fun exploring the ancient sand dunes. Ladghar Beach - The Ladghar Beach is 23.7 kms away from Anjarle Beach .Which is maximum 55 minutes away from Anjarle.The beach is known as the “red beach” or “red sand beach “. Here you can enjoy various types of water sports and have a memorable experience .At Ladghar Beach a holy place is present which is called “Tamastirth” and also The Parshuram Statue. The shore contains red sand or red stone and because of this it is called as Tamastirth. The destination also has the statue of lord Parshuram. In Dapoli it is the best place to visit.
